DM1340 Front Mower
Featuring trailing link suspension, this unit has the cutterbar mounted at the outermost point on the sturdy support frame to prevent twisting, while providing optimum adaptation to ground contour and excellent forward visibility from the cab.

• The pulling motion of the DM1340 provides optimum suspension travel, as well as more protection for the crop, the tractor and the mower.
• The mower unit can also be hydraulically shifted sideways for better visibility and tighter mowing around corners, to maximize your cut.

DM1398 Rear Mower
This mower features TurboLift hydraulic flotation, an advanced system that adapts extremely well to ground contours, for optimum flotation at high field speeds.

• The DM1398 is also fitted with a SafetySwing, which independently swerves backwards and up to clear obstructions, helping prevent mower damage. And with automatic reset, there’s no need to stop the tractor.

Compact Modular Angle Cutterbar

Low-profile, lightweight and shaft-driven, this doublebevel gear design allows the mower to run at a shallower angle, improving cut quality, optimizing efficiency and extending the life of the cutterbar.

While most front mounted and rear mounted mowers feature a stamped steel spur gear cutterbar, which can twist or fail at high mowing speeds, the DM Series features an individual gearbox design to handle extreme working conditions. Each individual disc module is powered by a shaft running behind the cutterbar. This creates a lower cutterbar profile while reducing backlash as each module doesn’t have to power the one next to it. The main drive shaft also features a weakened shear point to protect the cutterbar if you happen to hit a rock or foreign object in the field. Each module is filled with lifetime oil for low maintenance.

Removable Tine Conditioner (Optional)

Unlike typical conditioners, our unique coil design gently conditions the crop without tearing nutrientrich leaves from the plant. And it takes just moments to attach or remove.

The coil tines gently condition the crop as it passes through the conditioner, leaving the crop loose and well aerated to discharge moisture quickly for fast drying time. For more aggressive conditioning in grass crops, the adjustable comb may be moved in between the tines to strip the waxy coating off of the plant stems.

DM1340 Front Mounted Mower Features
 

Trailing Link Front Suspension

The trailing link front suspension provides optimum flotation for optimum adaptability to ground contours and rough terrain.

Since the mower is suspended at the outermost parts by an overhead frame it can be pulled through the field rather than pushed. This provides a higher degree of suspension travel while allowing the mower to retract backwards and clear small mounds or ruts in the field without gouging the ground.

Hydraulic Side Shift

The DM1340 can be hydraulically side shifted 8 inches to the left or 8 inches to the right for cutting around corners.

TurboLift Hydraulic Flotation

The TurboLift hydraulic flotation is an advanced system that adapts extremely well to ground contours, for optimum flotation at high field speeds. This unique design allows the mower to glide into dips or depressions for a closer field cut, while still maintaining optimum flotation with minimum ground pressure.

SafetySwing Collision Protection

At high mowing speeds its easy to come in contact with an unmovable object. That’s why the DM1398 is equipped with the SafetySwing collision protection system. Unlike competitive mowers, the SafetySwing allows the mowers to swerve backwards and upwards independently to clear an obstacle, preventing damage to the mower. After the object has been cleared the mowers automatically reset without having to stop the tractor.
